Fun Drinking Games For Parties
Sometimes a party just isn't a party if drinking games aren't involved. These don't necessarily have to be played with alcoholic beverages either. The following games were initially designed for consuming alcohol while playing, but many can be altered by using regular beverages and the person who is the last to leave for a bathroom break is the one who wins. This can be hard on the bladder, but it is an alternative to drinking a lot of beer or hard liquor.
Elf: the movie
This only one of the few movie-related games. The following list includes situations during the movie when a drink needs to be taken by everyone in the group.
1. Whenever Buddy sings, is scared, breaks an object, screams, or eats something he isn't supposed to2. When there is a product placement for a name-brand item3. When the Naughty or Nice list is referred to4. When someone mentions the Christmas Spirit
Whoever is the first to shout out that he/she sees the Arctic Puffin or candy canes gets to make someone else take two drinks.
Six Cup
This game requires six cups of different sizes and a different type of alcohol for each player. There is also a dice required for this game. Each cup is numbered from 1 to 6, the dice is rolled and the player who rolled adds his/her alcohol of choice to that numbered cup. The next player rolls the dice and does the same thing, unless he/she rolls the number on the cup that is already full. If this occurs, then this player has to drink what is in the cup and pass the dice on to the next player.
Chandeliers
This is one of the hardcore drinking games that tend to require the use of alcoholic beverages to be played. For this game, there needs to be a handful of quarters, 30 cans of beer, a bottle of hard liquor, a cup for each player, and an extra cup that is taller than the player's cups.
The tall cup is placed in the middle of a table or on the floor and filled with a shot of hard liquor. The rest of the cups are set around this taller one at equal spaces apart from one another. Each player's cup is filled with beer, but only half-full. The first person takes a quarter, bounces it and the cup it lands in gets drank by the owner of that cup. If the quarter lands in the middle cup, everyone drinks their beer. The last person to finish drinking their beer is the one who has to drink the shot as well.
